A programme of free business workshops to support and grow your business will be taking place throughout the day at Bradford Business Fair.
A free Networking Session is also being held at 1pm, hosted by Andy Guile. This is a great opportunity to pitch your products and services and make connections with members of the local business community.

12.00pm: Changes to unfair dismissal rules
What are they? What does it mean? What do employers need to do?

In practice, businesses may no longer be able to rely on short service dismissals in the way they have before. From January 2027, employees will qualify for ordinary unfair dismissal rights after six months’ service. This means there is an increased risk of unfair dismissal claims for businesses, it’s more important than ever to make sure you are protected. This means having the right processes in place.
